October 5, 2021 - Howells Pumpkin Farm Beer and Wine Garden Visit

On the evening of Tuesday October 5th, over 30 Probus members/guests gathered together at the Beer and Wine Garden of the Howell Pumpkin Farm in Fonthill. As this was an outdoor gathering, we were thankful for the mild temperatures and lack of rain (after two very wet days). It was an opportunity to socialize while enjoying a beer, cider or other beverage, and to catch up with other members who, in many cases, hadn’t seen each other in a while. Some of us also partook in the burgers, poutine, pumpkin donuts and other snacks that were available. The venue was very relaxed and casual, with a variety of tables to sit at or areas to wander around while talking (even some goats to look at). The general feedback received after the event was that it was an enjoyable, fun time and a great spot to gather.
