On November 4th, 36 PROBUS members came out to enjoy a morning tour of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum followed by a delicious lunch buffet in the hanger amongst the aircraft. Our group was split into smaller groups of 6 for the tour - each being led by knowledgeable tour guides. It was a true learning experience of WWII flight history. Needless to say the Lancaster Bomber was the highlight of the tour and seeing it up close was exciting especially when we’ve often seen it flying over Fonthill. However it was just one of the many unique, historic aircraft that were on display. All in all it was a wonderful fall outing enjoyed by everyone. A comment from our club's President who attended this event: "Our tour guide (Dale) was first rate, very knowledgeable and full of interesting stories about the craft that are housed at the museum. Lunch was also terrific." Thanks Linda Olsson for assisting in the set-up for this terrific event.
