The e-bike information session was a hit and well received by the 26 attendees. Ted Higgins did a great job of conveying his experiences going through four e-bikes, covering all our topics on the agenda. The discussion reflected an informed audience with many questions and comments about e-bikes. Ted made good use of the two e-bikes he brought and allowed people to literally get a feel for their weight and the many particular components. Sincere thanks go to Ted for his time and efforts at the event and for Virginia Steward who agreed to be our door person, checking off the names of attendees. Down the road another e-bikes session may be held on this popular means of transportation. Thanks also go to our sponsors (Pelham Probus Club, Niagara Freewheelers Bicycle Touring Club and Bike Niagara) who shared the costs of the meeting room and to the Meridian Community Centre staff who provided excellent service for the room rental and set-up.
