When Max and Wynn invite their friends Roger and Abby up for a long weekend to show off their new country home it doesn’t take long for the truth of how they really feel about each other to come out. 2) Euchre Night Aug 13th, 2pm Mandeville Theatre by Norm Foster (Post show talk) Euchre Night stacks a deck of laughter and poignancy in this brand new comedy about a special circle of friends. For 32 years Ruby, Deb, Kelly, and Grace have been playing Euchre every week. Over the years they’ve got married, had children, had grandchildren, and lost spouses. Now a new romance threatens to come between them as one reaches for happiness and the others can’t let go. 3) A Woman’s Love List Sept 26, 2pm Light House Theatre, Port Colbourne Written by Norm Foster Megan and Carly write down a list of qualities for the perfect man, and to their surprise, he appears! But perfection proves to be a moving target. As they begin tweaking the list – Blaze Wilson, their masterpiece, responds in kind, morphing from one personality to the next faster than you can say “emotional whiplash”. Things get even messier when Blaze discovers the list and takes matters into his own hands. Full of rapid-fire dialogue, bizarre romantic detours, and enough twists to qualify as cardio, A Woman’s Love List is a hilarious exploration of modern relationships and why love can’t be measured by bullet points. 4) Foster Christmas Double Bill Dec 15, 2pm Navy Hall, Niagara-on-the-Lake by Norm Foster Two hilarious holiday one-acts from one of Canada’s most beloved playwrights! The Office Christmas Party & Widow Wonderland THE OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY by Norm Foster | World Premiere It’s Christmas Eve at Buxton’s Department store and Kelly Newman has arrived during the office Christmas party ready to assume her new role as Office Manager. Everything is looking rosy but then she runs into James — ‘not-so-rosy’— Rose. The ex-Office Manager. Could it be more awkward? Actually, yes. Two strangers, one’s fortunes on the rise at the expense of the other’s, both alone on Christmas Eve. Norm Foster brings light and laughter to the stickiest of situations. Will the holiday celebration warm potentially kindred spirits or chill the air between polar opposites? WIDOW WONDERLAND by Norm Foster | World Premiere This cheerful Christmas play that throws a widow and a widower together at their apartment building’s Christmas dinner for those who are alone during the holiday season. Michael and Sharon wind up at a table for two during this December 23rd dinner and what follows is an evening of getting to know one another with all of the awkwardness and politeness and silliness that a first meeting often includes. Best of all, and most important of all, it is heartwarming and delightfully funny!

Friday, March 6th provided another enjoyable event for 29 of our members. We met for dinner at two of Port Colborne’s favourite restaurants - The Smokin Buddha (Thai cuisine) and San Marco’s (Italian). A lot of laughs and stimulating conversation allowed everyone to get to know each other better. Following our meal we met at Lighthouse Theatre in the Roselawn Centre to see Motown Gold featuring some of the biggest and best known hits by artists such as Diana Ross and The Supremes, The Marvelettes, Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops and even Michael Jackson and The Jackson Five. They had the place rocking, we knew all the songs and Margot even got up and danced. A good time was had by all. December 11, 2025: A Niagara Christmas Carol Adapted by Jamie Williams, Directed by Emily Oriold Join us for a newly adapted Canadian version of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol in partnership with the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre. In commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the Welland Canal Company and the construction of the Canal itself, we are taking Dickens’ beloved holiday ghost story and setting it in 19th century St. Catharines at the time of the Canal’s build. A Niagara Christmas Carol is a uniquely Canadian take on the traditional story of Ebenezer Scrooge’s redemption. Firehall Theatre in Niagara Falls:
