The first time some of us ventured to the far end of the tunnel, but we could not get entirely through due to a pond at the far end and lots of ice stalagmites! Into the breech once more for the Probus Hiking Group, on a very cold and windy day at Queenston Heights.  The joys of hiking in what felt like sub-arctic weather in Short Hills Park.
